Breakout Winter Skillz is specifically designed to be an ideal supplement to the local town travel programs. The amount of practice time available for town travel just isn't enough to install offenses & defenses, work on plays, game plan for opponents, etc... AND develop the skills and fundamentals necessary for long-term player development. Let our experienced coaching staff help! Each week, we will provide in-depth skills training in a variety of different areas in a way that is engaging and fun. Players will work on the fundamentals of the game such as dribbling and passing skills, defensive principles, offensive moves on the catch and off the dribble, being "strong with the ball", rebounding, proper technique on layups using both hands, creative finishing moves, etc. Time will also be set aside for live competitive game play. Sessions and groups will be organized based on age and ability level to ensure a great experience for everyone involved. More training + More game experience = More growth.

Dates: We will meet on 7 Sundays throughout the winter with sessions on December 7,14, January 4,11,18,25 and February 1 with a makeup session available on 2/8 if your athlete has to miss a session for any reason.

Located at beautiful Derby Academy in Hingham. 

*Note: 3rd graders can choose to join either our g.1-3 "Little Hoopers" or our g.3-5 Skills depending on their level of comfort and experience.  Similarly, 5th graders may choose to go with the g.3-5 or 5-7 group.
